Seven lakes has some nice features. The best thing about it is that you get to camp right on the one of the beachs. Young children will also like the large playground at the other beach.

We live close enough and have never stayed overnight. We love the dirt trails for mountain biking. It has been a few years since we have biked the trails. Are these still around?

It was my understanding that on weekends, Seven Lakes becomes over run with local and the less the friendly camping types who prefer to drink and carry-on until all hours of the morning.
Have the state park rangers gotten this problem under control?

We have stayed their several times on weekends during the past few years, and in the campground area have had no problems with people being rowdy. I do not know about the other areas (although I am doubting that there is a problem), but the campground seems to be fine.

Although I personally have not explored the trails to any great degree, it would appear that there are still bike paths.
Here is an official map of the park that includes bike trails.
